CAMERONS CAMEL CAMPAIGN

Dr Alex Tinson a well known veterinary from Al Ain afforded me the opportunity to visit a private camel farm that was just for racing camels.  In the picture Dr Alex (Left), myself and Eid Al Mazaroui (right)is the owner of the farm.  These Camels are well cared for as they get fed oats,honey and hay. The camels mouths are normally covered with a muzzle to stop them from eating litter.

I was also granted an opportunity to ride a camel.  These camels don't have very large humps as they are fit and are fed regularly therefore there is no need to store food.

Each camel is covered with a blanket to keep warm.

Each Camel is kept warm at night.
